Description
Do you have an animal that you can’t figure out?
Do you want some help with your barn and pasture layout?
Have you been to a clinic and are having trouble with some of the techniques that you learned?
Have you been unable to attend a clinic and there are parts of the book that you just can’t visualize?
Did you plan to come to a clinic but the pandemic got in the way?
If any of these apply to you a Zoom session can help. Take a video of you working with one or more of your animals and we can screen share and view the video together. We can have a strategy session about your training program. You can walk around your property camera in hand and we can strategize about how to set up or change your set up.
As a new camelid owner I was looking for information about how to care for my herd without being required to perform the neck grab I see all too often. Luckily, I found Marty’s book and on-line course, both of which were extremely helpful in showing me a way to interact with my herd harmoniously. Next I needed practice and critique of my technique. I got that with my Zoom calls with Marty. There we analyzed videos of me working with my herd. I was able to learn and work with my herd at my farm where my alpacas and I are comfortable. I was able to practice in small intervals at my convenience over a period of days. And I was able to review my technique during a zoom call with Marty. During those sessions we reviewed my technique multiple times. This allowed me to reflect and process what Marty was telling me. The combination of the video recording and the zoom call to review later provides a calm and objective environment for which to learn. I highly recommend this format to anyone wanting to learn Marty’s techniques. Marla
