We have a male yearling who is mounting another male, orgling and extending his penis while making a thrusting motion with his hips. This is our first time raising males and I want to check if this is normal behavior. Is this just a display of dominance? Is there any risk to the submissive cria? We are gelding them, but not for another 6 months. Is it ok for them to be together? They are the only two male cria on our farm We can separate them during the day by putting them in adjacent pastures so they can be near each other, but we can't separate them at night without them being alone.
