I have four males, all intact. Three of them are 2.5 y/o and one is 3.5 y/o. I have decided to castrate them as they are getting pretty rowdy now. My vet suggested that we take care of two at a time. So I want to do the oldest and the rowdiest of the 2.5 y/o's. However, the 2.5 y/o has only testicle that has descended, so I was going to skip him until round two. And I may possible have to have abdominal surgery done on him as per Ruthanne McCaslin, so that will have to be a later 'problem'. Does anyone have any idea if the rowdy intact boy is going to be worse since the oldest (the leader) will be castrated? Am I creating more problems?
