I have a 13 year old intact male. He was having severe diarrhea for several days. He was treated with antibiotics for a couple of days and that has cleared up. Now he is getting in the pooping stance and I have not seen him defecate but only dribbling urine. I have seen him do this twice, yesterday and this morning. I have a call into the vet. Is a blocked urethra a thing in alpacas? He is still eating and drinking. I don't have the ability to isolate him to really watch his outputs.
