Last month a purchased a pregnant 8 year old alpaca. She was the lone alpaca left from a herd dispersal; I had no intention of purchasing any more animals!!
She was fine during quarantine but since joining the herd, she has had diarrhea most of the time. I have tried cutting back on hay; which means everyone gets less because she is a pig and will figure out how to eat more than her share.
I have given her ProBios (once) and several days last week I gave her pumpkin; which I thought was helping until today when we took a leap backwards.
What else can I try with her?
I have run fecals every week and they have not reflected a parasite issue.
She is happy, alert and always wants to be a part of what's going one; no signs of lethargy.
    Thanks for all ideas!!
