I am trying to find out what is the common opinion about treated wood posts for fence ends and corners in regards to alpaca health. Some people say alpacas do not eat wood and others say the opposite. I need to use something that will not rot out in an irrigated field and the cost of metal is quite high. I am just using the wooden posts for ends, corners, and gate posts. I will be using steel t post in between.
