would like thoughts on pasturing all my intact males together. Thinking of putting them together to do some pasture management and to get them further away from the pregnant, birthing females who will need to be bred soon. Also wondering if there is safety in numbers since I had a cougar attack a couple of weeks ago. Pastures are just under an acre. Males consist of: 2 five yr olds 2 three yr olds 3 two yr olds 3 yearling (one of whom is deaf) Until a month ago had all but yearlings together. Had the some fighting between one of the five year olds, Titan, and one of the three year olds, Marcos. A couple of times it was pretty severe but they seem to have sorted it out. Now have: yearlings and two year olds together. And 3 and 5 year olds together. All is quiet. If it wasn't for pasture management etc. Would leave things as they are.
