Hi Folks. It's y first winter coming with my llamas and I'm not too sure how to feed them specially on the cold (-30 C.). They had grazed in my 1 acre pen all summer and I was giving them oats supplement twice a day. Now since the grass is all gone and snow is showing up I got grass mix big round bales. I put one bale in pen so they can eat as much as they need but I think they are eating too much now. They are full time except at night full face in the bale... I just don't want they get over weight in the winter as their owner.... Should I remove the bale and fork feed them twice a day? If so how much should give them a day per llama?
    Thanks in advance.
    Eric.
