Just wanted to share my excitement. I am still working on picking up alpaca feet BUT...last night around 11pm my mind was thinking about trimming alpaca toes so I got out of bed and turned to my trusty Camelid Companion . I read the section on trimming toenails to include trimming with the foot on the ground. First thing this morning (after feeding), I brought my crew of four alpacas into the training area, haltered them to prepare to head to the big field, and then proceeded to trim their nails. OMG, got all but one foot trimmed with barely any foot moment. Even my most unpredictable Suri lady tolerated the process. Yahoo! Thanks, Marty!
