We have an 8.5 year old female alpaca who needs to wear a coat during the winter, but I'm having trouble finding one that'll fit her. She's a big girl and should weigh about 200lbs at an appropriate body condition when not pregnant. Her late term pregnancy weight will be 220-230lbs, and her body length is about the length of a wand. She's 100% alpaca, no llama in her at all. The adult alpaca coat she's been wearing all winter is a bit short, since it stops at her hips, and the belly band is getting too small, since she is pregnant and should have her cria in July. I was wondering where I can find a coat that'll be big enough to fit her.
