Hi All, I have a beautiful 12 year old gelding who lives on a farm with 11 other males. 2 youngsters, about 18 months old and very self-confident, joined the group a few weeks ago. Mine needs a bit of space and does not like to be in the middle of the pack. I go there nearly every weekend, we either go for a walk with others or I just spend time with him and he gets treats. Now it happened a few times that he’s coming to me with a completely different body posture, neck is long and downwards, head is pretty close to the ground. Yesterday he showed the same behavior when the group was called to go inside. I was not there and it was the first time that the farmer noticed this behavior. Does anyway have a clue what this could mean? I cannot say if this behavior started when the 2 youngsters joined or slightly earlier. Thanks!
