Barn floor for alpacas

    We are preparing to construct a pole barn for our soon to be 7 alpacas (3 due in spring) bringing the total to 10... As we consider the flooring, our thoughts are to pour a concrete slab and cover with thin rubber matting...
    We are now wondering if we need the rubber matting in the loafing shed part and how they would do if we used plain concrete... Can anyone give us advice in this area...:confused:
