Usually I'm the one answering questions. Today I'm asking. I have two cases lately of older (>8 years) llamas that have lived together for years, suddenly (at least according to the owners) decide to start fighting. It has typically been that one is the aggressor. In both cases it is only two llamas together, living with other species (goats, sheep, and/or cows). In both casese, I have asked about addition of new animals, change in barn arrangement, any changes in management in general and I am told "no." So I am asking, is this a phenomenon that others have experienced and has there been a solution that involved being able to put them together again? Thank you, Dennis Thibeault, DVM
