I have a nine year-old alpaca that is quite aggressive to the others. Lots of ear pinning, spiting and general bossiness. Often prevents the other girls from eating their grain (I separate them now) And she has kicked me several times. Not sure how to help her. I have two new ones coming in and I’m hoping that having five Alpacas all will help her settle down. She lost her buddy last fall and, though she had been bossy, it ramped up considerably. She seems always on red alert and watching from the doorway of the shed. I only have three right now and I am thinking she sees herself as the protector and is always on duty. It is very aversive to be around her.

    Help!
