Hi Marty!! As you may remember, we have a small herd, the 3 boys are in their own field until a week ago, we acquired 4 new boys, a male stud, and 3 six month old pet boys. We have put the baby pet boys in one field and the new male stud in with our 3 original boys in the field next to it. I expected some rough and tumble, but our oldest castrated boy (4yrs) seems to be ostracising the new male stud from the rest of the herd, and is being quite aggressive about it. Is it early days, am I worrying about our studs feelings unnecessarily, and will things calm down, or have I got the mix of males wrong? Should I put the other yearling and 2 year old in with the babies?? Thanks for your help!
