Taking Crias to another farm without Moms to be shorn?

    Would you take two -6 week old crias to another farm without their mom's to have their cria fleece removed? The shearer will be at a farm nearby (15 minutes away) to shear one alpaca cria and doesn't have time to come to us. I'm thinking that they may be traumatized and I don't want to do that! I know that the cria fiber is like velcro and haven't had it shorn in our other alpaca crias, but thought I might with these 2. Any opinions?
