Trailer Conversion?

Discussion in 'Herd Maintenance' started by Paulette Kaskinen, Oct 23, 2010.

  1. Sometime soon I'll need to get a trailer. The borrowed stock trailer I've been using is an older steel 6 x 12 bumper pull, which works fine but because it's built like a tank, it's awfully heavy. It seems like overdoing it for my llama and 2 alpacas, and I'm wondering if there's any reason I couldn't get an enclosed utility trailer and add some windows - they certainly don't look like they'd be as heavy as a stock trailer. Thoughts?
