All, I am hoping to find that someone knows the answer to this. I have not been able to find any information on it. How do camelids sleep? I have cameras showing my herd throughout the night, have had for several years now. I rarely observe them with their heads down and eyes closed. The infrared cameras allow me to see that they eyes are open. Do they experience rest while cushed but head up with eyes opened? If they don’t I cannot see how they are well rested.
