Broken tooth

Discussion in 'Medical' started by Linda Blackwelder, Apr 24, 2006.

  1. Hi all,

I have a 3 year old male alpaca with a broken front tooth. Most of the tooth is gone, but a half or quarter inch piece is still visible - so I'm sure the root is still there. Will this eventually grow back? Should I have my vet look at it? He's eating fine, and doesn't seem to be in any pain from it.

    Thanks for any advice.
