    Hi all

I thought I would pose this question on healthy and unhealthy llama poo.......sorry if you are eating.

When I muck out I sometimes see soft cowpat type poo, but it isn't consistent. The next time I look there will be none. I have been putting this down to a slight upset.

In the past I have seen some with a reddish mucous like string around normal healthy poo. Is this a sign of worm?

I have also observed in the past that if the llamas are put on fresh grass, especially after being on hay for the winter, this can upset their stomachs for a short period but this soon settles down.

I know about seeing diarrhoea and calling a vet ASAP, but it was the little tell-tale signs I was wondering about that might show something isn't quite right.

    Many thanks
    Chris
